Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct walls, foundations, and other structures according to blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stone to build walls, foundations, and other structures
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
* Mix mortar and prepare construction materials
* Ensure structures are level, plumb, and square using measuring tools
* Cut and shape blocks and bricks to fit specific requirements
* Maintain clean and safe work environment
* Collaborate with other trades and construction team members
* Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with standards
* 39 hours per week
Required Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bricklaying or masonry work
* Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
* Proficient use of hand and power tools (trowels, levels, measuring tools)
* Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
* Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work in various weather conditions
