Responsible for developing and implementing the Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) strategy across projects, fostering a positive safety culture, and establishing the organization as an industry leader in EHS compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Implement EHS policies and provide expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
Draft, review, and maintain EHS documentation, policies, and procedures.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and prepare detailed reports on findings.
Carry out risk assessments, investigate incidents, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify training needs and deliver EHS training to staff and subcontractors.
Ensure subcontractors and stakeholders comply with all EHS standards and best practices.
Skills & Experience
Third-level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.
3+ years’ experience on large-scale commercial or construction projects.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented, conscientious, and proactive in fostering safety culture.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective stakeholder relationships.
