Role Overview
As an EHS Advisor / Consultant, you will work closely with clients to support compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements while driving continuous improvement in Environmental, Health and Safety performance. This is a client facing role, ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and practical problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure client compliance with all relevant EHS legislation and regulatory requirements
• Review existing and prepare new Environmental, Health and Safety documentation
• Identify areas for improvement and provide practical guidance on EHS issues, including legislative changes, updated controls and training needs
• Assist clients with hazard identification and risk assessments
• Act as Safety Officer where required, including reviewing safe systems of work and carrying out site audits and inspections
• Identify corrective actions and support improvements in workplace safety
• Ensure external contractors meet minimum EHS requirements, including pre start competency and ongoing compliance
• Collect and analyse leading and lagging safety indicators
• Promote a strong safety culture and encourage workforce participation
• Chair safety meetings and deliver toolbox talks
• Carry out inspections and audits
• Support clients in closing out gaps and implementing best practice solutions
• Manage accident reporting, investigation and close out
• Liaise with HSA inspectors and support inspections, ensuring actions raised are effectively addressed

The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong experience working within construction, logistics and manufacturing environments
• Proven knowledge of Irish EHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills
• A proactive and solution focused approach
• The ability to work independently across multiple client sites
