Quality Assurance Specialist
This role presents a prime opportunity to work with a medical devices company in Galway, on an evening shift. The successful candidate will ensure products and processes meet quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide daily support to manufacturing teams, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
* Manage and close non-conformances (NCRs) and assist with related investigations.
* Collaborate with the Quality team to implement corrective actions and verify documentation.
* Maintain accurate manufacturing records, supporting audit readiness.
* Track and report key quality metrics.
* Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
Requirements:
* Certificate or Diploma in Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in a shift-based manufacturing environment is essential.
* 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or regulated production, preferably in the medical device industry.
* Fundamental understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation control.
