Cheshire Ireland is launching a new community-based service in Blackrock
and is seeking an
experienced Service Manager
to lead its development from day one.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be a key member of the Regional Team and act as
Person in Charge (PIC)
, ensuring the delivery of
safe, high-quality, rights-based, person-centred supports
that enable people to live full and inclusive lives in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day service operations and workforce planning
* Provide strong leadership, supervision, and development to teams
* Ensure full compliance with
HIQA standards
and safeguarding requirements
* Manage budgets, resources, and service performance
* Promote community inclusion, quality improvement, and innovation
About You:
* Relevant third-level or professional qualification
* Minimum
3 years' management experience
in disability, healthcare, or social care
* Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and safeguarding
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland
