The role holder will act as a Senior/Risk manager reporting to and working alongside the Designated Person PCF39C for Fund Risk Management on behalf of JTC Global AIFM Solutions (Ireland) Ltd, which is authorized as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM).MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESEnsure funds under management are managed in accordance with the risk management framework, risk appetite, fund offering documents, internal risk limits, applicable regulatory limits, AIFMD, and Central Bank regulations and guidance.Effectively measure, manage, and monitor the risk profile of the funds in line with risk appetite and the Risk Management Program (RMP).Prepare quarterly board reports on investment risk oversight in the funds.Review investment breaches, challenge the stakeholder control environment, review incident reports, internal escalations, and present findings to the board as necessary.Collaborate with Investment Managers, Fund Administrators, and Depositaries to identify issues and find efficient solutions, escalating significant concerns promptly.Continuously review liquidity risk characteristics of all products, monitor current liquidity levels against set tolerances.Conduct periodic stress tests, including Liquidity Stress Testing, to identify, measure, manage, and monitor risks associated with investments and fund positions.Assist Designated Persons (DPs) in delegate oversight, including review and approval of delegate policies.Manage policies related to the fund risk function, updating and obtaining approval as needed.Ensure the Board approves the fund's risk profile before launch and after any material amendments.Perform onboarding procedures prior to new fund launches where applicable.Advise on forward-looking risk matters to Investment/Portfolio Managers and Boards, proactively identifying challenges and attending relevant industry events.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSProven experience in risk management within the asset management or funds industry.Experience with Alternative Investments across asset classes is advantageous.Extensive knowledge of regulations issued by the Central Bank of Ireland and other European bodies (ESMA), including AIFMD, CP86, and related guidance.Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in risk analysis and stress testing methodologies.Excellent communication, organization, analytical skills, and a solution-oriented approach.Ability to identify material issues and escalate appropriately.Whether starting out or seeking new challenges, JTC offers an environment for growth and success at every career stage.Stay updated with industry insights, latest news, and exclusive content.
