The Role Overview:
As a Buyer - Men's Footwear, you will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to select products that meet company targets for sales, margins, and profit contribution. You will assess product ranges against competitors, ensuring timely delivery and correct phasing of merchandise intake.
Sales and Commercial Focus
You will focus on maximising sales, opportunities, and performance by:
* Selecting products that align with company targets for sales, margins, and profit contribution.
* Continuously assessing product ranges against key competitors to compare price, quality, and value.
* Preparing financial range plans and weekly sales and stock information.
* Achieving stock turn targets to maximise overall contribution.
* Taking appropriate action in-season with repeat orders, cancellations, and rescheduling of orders to maximise sales and profitability.
Range - Identify and Develop Key Styling, Colour Palette, and Range Content
You will identify and develop key styling, colour palette, and range content by:
* Interpreting fashion trends and translating them into commercial products.
* Utilising trade fairs, WGSN, magazines, and other fashion publications to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
* Conducting regular competition shopping to source new ideas and monitor competitor ranges.
What You'll Bring

* At least 4 years of buying experience within the fashion sector.
* Strong range building and selection skills.
* A proven track record in effective negotiation.
