Job Description
Medical Advisor Role:
You will serve as a medical expert, representing the Medical Department to provide accurate, unbiased medical and scientific assistance to healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on delivering fair, balanced information regarding our product portfolio, clinical development programs, or disease areas of interest.
In this capacity, you will work closely with healthcare experts and academic centers to enhance professional relationships and identify opportunities for improved patient outcomes in specific disease areas. You will also participate in the development of Medical Affairs Plans and implement tactics that align with the company's therapeutic areas of interest.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with the healthcare community, especially scientific experts and academic centers, in relevant disease areas.
* Participate in the development of Medical Affairs Plans and implement tactics that align with the company's therapeutic areas of interest.
* Deliver specific projects within the medical plan, such as health technology appraisals, clinical trials, early access strategies, guideline and policy work, symposia, advice-seeking activities, medical education initiatives.
* Facilitate the delivery of data generation activities (phase I-III), including the identification of suitable research projects, research centers, investigators, and innovative methods to generate data.
* Maintain integrity and ethical governance for the organization, leading by example.
* Function in a non-promotional capacity for a significant portion of your time.
