IT Support Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal staff and ensuring seamless collaboration with outsourced partners and other IT functions.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Mentor junior members of the IT Support Team, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
\
2. Work closely with external partners to ensure trust and reliability in our relationships.
\
3. Provide technical support on Office 365 and bespoke applications, driving solutions to solve business problems.
\
4. Continuously adopt a proactive approach to ensuring the reliability and availability of applications, identifying areas for improvement.
\
5. Train out application upgrades to internal teams, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
\
6. Maintain documentation on all new/upgraded applications and system processes, ensuring clarity and consistency.
\
7. Use own initiative to research and learn new technologies where required, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
\
8. Be a team player but also capable of working autonomously, balancing collaboration and independence.
\
9. Ensure all incidents are closed and documented efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:
\
\
10. Experience leading IT support functions, leveraging expertise to drive success.
\
11. Experience leading implementation projects, managing complex workflows and timelines.
\
12. 4-5 years' experience in an IT Systems Analyst role or proven experience, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
\
13. A strong understanding of Office 365 / Entra administration, Microsoft server environments, and Jira administration.
\
14. Experience writing procedural documentation for support/testing and training of applications, showcasing communication skills.
\
15. A degree in Computer Science or relevant valid certifications, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
