Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be pivotal in managing the financial aspects of various residential and commercial projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for cost planning, contract management, and ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standards.
* Lead and manage the cost control and commercial management of residential and commercial projects.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
* Conduct risk, value management, and cost control exercises.
* Manage contract negotiations, procurement processes, and subcontractor agreements.
* Provide expert advice on contractual matters, including dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, cost forecasts, and financial statements. Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering their professional growth.
Requirements:
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required. MRICS or relevant professional qualification is highly desirable. Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on residential and commercial projects. Proven track record of managing projects within a consultancy environment. Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and regulations.
