Since 31 March 2025, HIQA hosts the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC), Ireland’s National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group (NITAG). The Chief II, Clinical Pharmacist will support the NIAC Special Advisors who lead on the review and update of the Immunisation Guidelines for Ireland. They will contribute to co-ordinating and co-authoring these updates, respond to immunisation queries from healthcare professionals, and produce evidence syntheses on vaccines and immunisation topics. The role involves liaising with subject matter experts, academic partners, and international bodies involved in immunisation policy and program implementation.
Requirements:
* Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or entitled to be so registered
* A minimum of five years’ post-registration hospital pharmacy or medicines information experience
