Job Title: Maintenance Manager
We are seeking an experienced and skilled maintenance professional to join our team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and provide general maintenance support to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard.
* Oversee plumbers, electricians, and other outside contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently.
* Source suppliers, negotiate prices, and renegotiate annual contracts for all hotel equipment.
* Liaise with the finance department to ensure all purchases align with business objectives.
* Establish a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guide for duty managers regarding maintenance or health and safety issues.
* Provide full training to duty managers on this SOP.
* Monitor utilities and actively seek more energy-efficient solutions.
* Project manage all refurbishment or capital expenditure projects effectively.
What You'll Need:
* Previous management experience in a similar environment.
* Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* A good understanding of Health and Safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility in day-to-day job demands and strong organizational skills.
