Job Title: Site Inventory Lead

This position is based in County Westmeath and involves overseeing material investment strategies, managing inventory-related risks, and controlling total cost of ownership. It is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

* To oversee the implementation of efficient inventory management systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and minimizing financial exposure.
* To establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory management, including inventory turnover ratio, days inventory outstanding, and financial impacts related to inventory entitlement.
* To champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* To collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in procurement, finance, warehouse management, operations, quality assurance, and global supply chain to ensure alignment on inventory goals.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (or higher) and a minimum of 7+ years' experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or procurement in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in data visualization, executive-level reporting, and stakeholder influence.
* Proficiency with ERP, MRP II, MRP, SCP, APS, or DRP systems—especially Oracle, ASCP, or SAP.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access, and Outlook.
* A solid track record of successfully implementing changes to business processes and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field.
2. Certification from APICS (CPIM) or an equivalent professional planning body.
3. 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or demand planning within private, public, or military sectors.
4. In-depth knowledge of inventory management and end-to-end supply chain processes.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external suppliers at all levels of the organization.
