EPS Group have exciting opportunities for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our Operations team as a vacancy has arisen for a Process Environmental Scientist role.
The positions will be based in the Munster area.
The role requires a flexible person who is self-motivated, a self-starter who manages their time well.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a good command of the English language.
The ability to communicate well at all levels within the company and clients.
Key Responsibilities: Travelling to various Water and Wastewater treatment plants throughout the Limerick/Clare area carrying out operational duties.
Working independently and on occasions with Senior Process Specialists.
Inspections, sampling and analysis of Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Processes.
Problem solving process issues on-site.
Establishing improvement and efficiency measures and implementation/monitoring on-site.
Attending role specific training as required.
Operation of Drinking Water/Wastewater treatment plants as required.
Liaising with various personnel and teams including mechanical, process, on-site operators/supervisors.
Calibrations of laboratory/monitoring equipment Monitoring of SCADA control system.
Key Competencies and Skills: Laboratory analysis skills.
PC skills such as Excel and Wordessential Excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualifications: Degree in Environmental Science(or other relevant science/ engineering degree).
Further training will be provided.
