ABOUT THE ROLE
Safe Events Global is an event company specialising in Crowd and Event Safety.
Simply put, we are event people who specialise in safety. On ALL our shows, we do safety. On SOME of our shows we do safety and a whole lot more - like a 'typical' event company.
We work strategically, tactically and operationally. We consult on large-scale festival and event projects while also providing on-site Event Safety Advisors and Crowd Safety Advisors to deliver on plans we've helped to develop.
We are all about #enablingcreativity.
We understand our role in realising ambitious, creative events and those are the ones on which we enjoy working most.
We are the 'figure it out' safety people.
We focus on
people + process
. We have a Digital Operations Department that builds platforms and tools to aid us in delivering our service for clients. We look to pair the best H&S teams with best-in-class digital systems to ensure successful delivery each and every time.
We operate primarily in Ireland and the Middle East currently, with our Global HQ being in Dublin while we have an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia also. Just over half of our full-time team is based in Ireland, with the balance based in the UK and the Middle East.
We are not your typical safety company or professional services company.
We work in a fun, vibrant and creative industry - and we love that.
While we are an Event Safety company first, in this role you will get experience in full scale event management from event licensing, to production, to site management, to event control and operations, accreditation, ticketing and much more.
As a Project Assistant, you will:
* Support the planning and delivery of client and internal projects, including logistics, documentation, schedules, and resource coordination.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of event safety documentation, including plans, procedures, and checklists (you'll be guided by templates and a mentor).
* Work closely with experienced Project Managers and Safety Advisors to gain exposure to all aspects of project delivery.
* Help ensure our digital tools and systems are kept up to date and support effective project management.
* Attend planning meetings, take notes, and help follow up on key actions and deliverables.
* Provide on-the-ground and remote support across the entire project lifecycle, from planning through delivery and debrief.
* Assist in preparing reports, timelines, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Contribute to the overall team culture and bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn every day.
* Continue to learn while working with us - through continued mentorship, in house briefings, as well as in house courses and external courses.
Who the right person might be:
* You might be a recent graduate or early in your career, looking to build experience in event management, event operations, safety, or project management.
* You're excited by the idea of working in the event world, and particularly curious about the safety side of things.
* You are organised, reliable, and detail-oriented—you like to help things run smoothly.
* You're a team player who's happy to take direction but also confident asking questions and taking initiative.
* You're eager to grow into the role and develop a career in this space.
* You're based in or near Dublin, or willing to relocate, and can be in the office at least three days a week, especially during your probation period.
* You're comfortable with digital tools and open to learning new systems.
* You want to work somewhere that's fast-paced, dynamic, and genuinely collaborative.
* You may have undertaken an Event Management or Festival Management Course.
We don't expect you to know it all. We're looking for potential, attitude, and a willingness to grow into something more. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Even if you don't tick all the boxes here - convince us you're the right person
