Operations Manager Job Posting
We are seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to lead the management of our hotel in Co Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently overseeing the hotel, ensuring all guests receive high standards of service and attention.
* Minimum 3 years managerial experience as Hotel Operations/General manager in a Wedding/Events focused hotel required.
* Previous experience in delivering seamless food and beverage service essential.
* Experience and ability to introduce new Food and Beverage and Event concepts necessary.
* Extensive experience managing Rooms, Sales, Finance, HR, Operations highly desirable.
* Excellent IT skills including proficient user of MS Office and Excel required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, organisational, negotiation and communication skills, and fluent spoken and written English. Duties include:
* Maximising revenue by effective management of hotel operations across food and beverage outlets.
* Developing new revenue streams and service opportunities.
* Managing payroll costs of all departments.
* Organising efficient operation of all events and food & beverage outlets.
* Ensuring effective staff communication and recruitment processes are in place.
* Developing and implementing effective training for all employees.
* Further business development of the hotel, especially in the wedding market.
