The selected candidate will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of end-to-end solutions in the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within the SAP S/4HANA environment, focusing on Product Costing functionality. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of finance and accounting business processes, and a proven track record in delivering S/4HANA finance solutions.This is a hybrid role, working in the client's Cork, Ireland office 2 days per week.Job Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end product costing activities, including cost component structures, costing runs, and material ledger activation.Configure and maintain CO-PC modules to align with business requirements (e.g., cost object hierarchies, overhead calculations).Resolve issues related to WIP, variances, and settlement processes.Ensure all product costing processes comply with SOX requirements, including documentation of controls and audit support.Manage manual journal entries, particularly for two-step inventory expensing and periodic reposting.Perform regular reconciliations and variance analysis to validate costing accuracy.Support upgrades/migrations from prior SAP releases (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA), ensuring continuity of costing logic.Troubleshoot legacy configuration issues and recommend improvements.Collaborate with technical teams to design and test RICEFW objects.Requirements:5+ years of hands-on SAP CO-PC experience, including full-cycle implementations.Deep expertise in product costing, material ledger, and actual costing.Proven experience with SOX compliance, audit readiness, and control frameworks.Strong knowledge of manual journal entry processes and inventory accounting.Ability to analyze complex variances and troubleshoot costing discrepancies.
