This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven professional who thrives in complex sales environments and enjoys working closely with public sector stakeholders and channel partners.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute business strategies to grow ICT solutions within the Irish public sector, generating a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key public sector stakeholders and decision-makers.Understand public sector requirements and challenges, proposing tailored ICT solutions in collaboration with channel partners.Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including channel partners, technical support, and product teams, to ensure successful solution delivery.Monitor industry trends, market developments, and government policies to identify new business opportunities.Lead contract negotiations and close deals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Provide regular market insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic feedback to senior management.Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Requirements:Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.5–10 years of experience in business development or a similar role, with a strong focus on ICT and public sector clients.Solid understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations in Ireland.Strong technical knowledge of ICT solutions, including wired and wireless data networks, LAN/WAN, WDM, GPON, FTTx, data storage, and data centre networks.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strategic mindset with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Get in touch today
