We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaner Coordinator to join our team and support our operations.
Job Overview
As an Experienced Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties (Commercial, Residential and Short Stay Rentals). You will also work closely with a bilingual team, fluent in both Spanish and English, to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations across all properties. You will be responsible for conducting quality inspections, and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and ready for guest stays. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong understanding of cleaning standards and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and prepare short-stay rental properties to hospitality standards before guest arrivals.
* Change and prepare beds, duvets, linens, towels, and amenities with attention to presentation and comfort.
* Perform deep cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring spotless results.
* Handle laundry and linen rotation, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing supplies.
* Conduct final property inspections to ensure every detail meets quality expectations.
* Report maintenance issues, missing items, or damages promptly to supervisors.
* Follow checklists and cleaning schedules to maintain consistency across multiple properties.
* Work closely with a bilingual operations team (English & Spanish) for smooth coordination.
* Maintain a professional attitude and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Inventory Management:
* Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply is maintained for efficient cleaning operations.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of cleaning products and equipment.
Maintenance Coordination:
* Liaise with maintenance teams and service providers to address any repairs or maintenance issues in the Short Stay properties.
Communication and Reporting:
* Maintain open and proactive communication with stakeholders regarding cleaning and maintenance matters.
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to cleanliness or maintenance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a professional cleaner, ideally within hospitality, short-stay rentals, or property maintenance.
* Strong understanding of cleaning standards, techniques, and products used in professional environments.
* Ability to make and present beds to hotel-quality standards, including handling duvets, linens, and towels.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a spotless, guest-ready environment.
* Reliable and punctual, with strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic understanding of checklists and property cleaning procedures.
* Good communication skills in English (Spanish a plus); ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude with a genuine focus on guest satisfaction and quality.
* Physically capable of performing cleaning duties (standing, lifting, bending, carrying supplies).
