Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to support various teams within their company.
The successful candidate would be assisting staff members at different levels of experience and expertise.
Ideally this will be someone who has gained experience in an accounting role and wishes to develop themselves further.
Studying for an accountancy qualification would be supported.
What will the role entail?
Input data using various software packages, Sage, Excel, online Quickbooks etc.
Set up bank payments
Raise sale invoices
Record receipts and reconciliation of cash/credit card receipts
Prepare VAT returns
Assist in periodic management accounts
Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts
Assist in preparing and monitoring cash flows and budgets
Assist in putting together year end accounts files
Assist in managing tour accounts for clients
Company secretarial matters, annual returns etc.
Key Stakeholders
At our clients company, they expect everyone to work as a team and support each other in their priorities.
In particular you will be expected to work closely with their Senior and Semi-Senior Accountants.
How do you know if you are right for the role?
Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience within accountancy practice; music industry experience is a bonus.
Education
Working towards ACCA/ACA.
Past experience using QuickBooks online and Sage accounts production is desirable.

The offer
This role will include a highly competitive remuneration package.
It will be based in Limerick, but with flexibility to enable you to work from home certain days a week as agreed.
