Job descriptionReporting to the Operations Manager, Food & Beverage Manager & Bar Manager.The Food & Beverage Supervisor will supervise a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure a good working knowledge of food, wine and cocktails. Be able to make recommendations.Ensure adequate stock in the bar and ensuring all back of house areas are kept clean and to standardBe friendly, courteous and professional at all times.Up-sell and maximize sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.Promote good team relations in F&B team ensuring fairness and consistency.Lead, support, inform and guide team members in all restaurant activities and operations.Carryout training of new F&B staff and ensure they complete the F&B SOP training dailyEnsure all Cleaning checklists and Paperwork is in order and on file.In the absence of manager ensure all sections are allocated appropriately amongst the team.Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving customer complaints.Ensure team compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standard.Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs and ensure recycling is undertaken.Assist in driving and implementing company initiatives as assigned by management.Evaluate and highlight issues to management and make improvements accordingly.Requirements:The ability to motivate, organise, lead and supervise a small team.Fluent English and excellent communication skills and ability to carry out briefings and meetings with the team.Flexibility with ability to work varying shift patternsPrevious hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.Must have excellent people skills and be extremely customer focused.Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.Job Type: Full-timePay: €30,000.00-€32,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee discountFood allowanceGym membershipOn-site parkingSick payWellness programWork Location: In personReference ID: BARS
