About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
CNC Machinist
to join our Clients precision engineering team in Wexford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in multi-axis machining and a passion for high-quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain
multi-axis CNC machines
, including
sliding head machines
.
* Program and set up machines using
SolidCAM
and
Fusion 360
.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce precision components.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal output.
* Conduct quality checks and ensure all products meet strict tolerances.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve processes and productivity.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience operating
multi-axis CNC machines
and
sliding head lathes
.
* Proficiency in
SolidCAM
and
Fusion 360
programming.
* Strong understanding of machining principles and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
