Social Care Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Social Care Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to vulnerable populations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to residents, assisting with daily living tasks, encouraging participation in recreational activities and social events, and maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing one-on-one support to residents to promote their physical and emotional well-being
* Assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Encouraging residents to participate in recreational activities and social events, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and outings
* Maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress, including medication administration and treatment plans
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and high-quality patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. A qualification in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with disability modules (or other relevant discipline) is essential, along with CORU registration as a Social Care Worker or being in the process of registration.
