Sustainability Engineer A reputable Mechanical & Electrical consulting engineering company in Dublin are now seeking a Sustainability Engineer THE COMPANY: Established for over 70 years and with a headcount of over 60 people, our client has cemented their reputation in the Irish construction market as one of leading practices in building service design and consultancy. They boast a portfolio of work that includes some of the most highly sought-after projects in the Irish construction sector in the last 30 years, including projects in the commercial, industrial, healthcare and education sector. Due to continued success, they seek to expand further, and the successful Dublin based Sustainability Engineer will have the opportunity to work with one of the best in the business with real long-term career opportunity. THE ROLE: The successful Sustainability Engineer will mainly be office-based in Dublin with some site visits included and will have the following duties: Work on large scale residential, commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects in already built environments and construction Carry out sustainability and energy efficiency audits and work on decarbonisation projects Carry out thermos modelling exercises, heat load assessments, energy load assessments and daylight analysis Report writing and recommending appropriate actions THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to a wide range of Dublin-based candidates with varying backgrounds and experience levels: Must be a qualified Mechanical engineer, Building Services engineer, Energy engineer or Sustainability engineer Must have an understanding or interest in sustainability (thermodynamics, building energy modelling) Open to experience levels THE PACKAGE: Salary: Graduate €32k-€37k, Prior experience €35k-€55k DOE Pension 22 Days Holiday LOCATION: Dublin Any candidates living within a commutable distance to Dublin are encouraged to apply BMS Performance specialises in recruiting Engineering professionals, nationally.
