Part Qualified Accountant / Financial Accountant
Role Overview
A growing Irish business in a technical, project-led environment is seeking an accountant to join its finance team. This is a broad role with strong exposure across month-end, compliance, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete bank reconciliations
* Manage supplier payment runs
* Perform customer and supplier reconciliations
* Prepare VAT reconciliations
* Support purchase requisition controls within the finance system
* Prepare and submit statutory/Revenue returns (including VAT and related filings)
* Complete CSO returns
* Prepare accruals and prepayments as part of month-end
* Support wider finance operations and continuous improvement tasks
Candidate Profile
* 4+ years' experience in a busy finance function
* AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (studying towards qualification)
* Strong Excel and general MS Office capability
* Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
* Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Positive, adaptable approach with willingness to learn
