Money Advice & Budgeting Service (MABS) is the State's money advice and budgeting service and has been guiding people through problem debt for over thirty years.MABS is a free, confidential and independent service and has responsibility for administering the State funded ‘Abhaile’ scheme which assists those in mortgage arrears. We also employ qualified Approved Intermediaries to process Debt Relief Notice applications for eligible clients.South Leinster MABS is currently looking to recruit additional members to join our Board of volunteers to ensure we have a balanced Board in terms of skills, gender and diversity.We are currently seeking new Board Directors with experience in the following areas:FinanceGovernance KnowledgeHuman ResourcesSouth Leinster MABS incorporates offices at Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford and Wicklow (Bray & Arklow). This is a voluntary Board of Management.All Board meetings are Hybrid with In Person AGM held once a year.Applications are also invited from Counties outside our region.
