Site Engineer Water Infrastructure Projects (Dublin) A Site Engineer is required to provide on-site technical and engineering support for major water infrastructure projects in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil/site engineer to join high-profile water projects supporting Irelands water and wastewater infrastructure development objectives.
The successful Site Engineer will play a key role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with design specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
Duties: Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including construction, installation, and commissioning of water infrastructure.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Prepare and maintain site records, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
Liaise with project managers, commercial teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
Monitor quality control, safety compliance, and risk management on site.
Support project audits, inspections, and commissioning activities.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior site staff and apprentices.
Requirements: Minimum 35 years site engineering experience on water, wastewater, or civil infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment works.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and site/project management software.
Strong stakeholder management experience, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Salary & Benefits: €60-€70k, dependent on experience.
