The successful candidate will have the opportunity of working within the Controls and Reporting team on a 3-year graduate training programme.
You will train as a qualified accountant through a recognised accountancy body and gain relevant experience at PepsiCo to complement your studies.
As a Treasury Graduate Accountant you will provide support to the Controls and Reporting team in delivering high-level accounting, business and process support to customers, delivering real-time, accurate and relevant information within a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Produce accurate and timely daily cash position reports
Funding and foreign exchange responsibilities
Reconcile and book loans and dividends to the general ledger and counterparty statements
Complete multi-currency bank reconciliations and research exception items
Work with banks and internal parties to ensure KYC "Know Your Customer" details are updated for all company entities, directors and mandate signatories relevant to the bank accounts
Execute international mass payment runs
Develop and prepare rolling cash flow forecasts
Analyse actual cash flow vs forecast and provide commentary on variances
Assist in monthly balance sheet reviews
Manage emails received into the Treasury Cork Cash Desk mailbox efficiently, cost-effectively and with customer focus
Participate in process improvement projects across the Controls and Reporting team to drive efficiencies and support delivery of objectives
Respond to customer telephone queries and emails professionally, meeting tight service-level agreed metrics
Assist with the annual audit process and respond to queries
Qualifications
Excellent analytical skills, high proficiency in Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Results-oriented with a commitment to achieving objectives
Self-starter with ability to work autonomously, and flexibility
Ability to integrate well within a team environment
