The office contains multifunctional business capabilities and will be integral in furthering the growth and transformation of KKR.TEAM OVERVIEWKKR’s Finance, Tax, and Accounting team oversees the firm’s tax compliance, credit and accounting, and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR’s Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Finance, Tax, and Accounting team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset classes, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests.POSITION SUMMARYAssistant Vice President (AVP) role within SPV Controllership responsible for supporting end-to-end financial oversight of SPVs and Aggregators associated with Americas deals. The role is heavily focused on oversight of third-party administrators and works in partnership with the global SPV Controllership team to support monthly financial closes, review administrator-prepared US GAAP trial balances, and assist on debt service and distribution oversight.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESAdministrator Oversight & Monthly CloseAssist with the ongoing onboarding of SPV entities in the Americas to a Third Party Fund AdministratorAct as a primary point of oversight for third-party administrators across Americas-based SPVs and AggregatorsCoordinate and support monthly close processes, ensuring administrators deliver accurate and timely financial information, to support the valuation process.Ensure administrator data flows accurately and completely into Snowflake, including validation of mappings, completeness, and consistency with administrator-prepared trial balances and supporting schedules, to support monthly close, reporting, and control requirementsReview administrator-prepared trial balances and supporting schedules under US GAAP, escalating issues and judgement areas as requiredReview SPV NAVs via tools such as Sigma and FloQast to review and sign-off on summarized administrator-prepared outputsReview impairment assessments and going concern memos prepared by administrators as part of administrator oversight, in line with relevant accounting standards, and escalate concerns as appropriateReview quarterly administrator KPIs and performance metrics, and hold administrators accountable to agreed service levels and deliverables in accordance with Master Services Agreements (MSAs)Financial Control, Budgets & CashReview and approve budgets at deal close to ensure SPVs are adequately funded for post-close and ongoing operating expensesMonitor budgets versus actuals and investigate and escalate material variances outside approved budgetsCoordinate periodic cleardown of intercompany payables and receivables between SPVs and other KKR group entities, where applicableAggregators, Distributions & Holding Stack OversightSupport financial oversight across the full investment holding stack, including Ontario and Delaware aggregator entitiesReview and challenge distribution calculations and distribution lead sheets, ensuring consistency across the structure and alignment between Finance, Tax, and AccountingLiaise with KKR Deal Teams as required to support financial control matters relating to deal SPVs and aggregator entitiesResponsible for the preparation/review of certain Aggregators quarterly and annual work papers, financial statements, investor allocations, investor capital account statementsCredit Agreement Reporting ServicePrepare/Review debt service calendars on a monthly basis, including validation of interest and principal calculations and paymentsPrepare/Review notices and payment or payment-related documents and instructionsPrepare/Review interest election, borrowing request and account withdrawal or transfer formsPrepare/Review monthly/quarterly interest payment calculations in respect of interest owed by the Partnership under credit agreementsPrepare/Review monthly/quarterly credit facility commitment fee calculations in respect of commitment fees owed by the Partnership under credit agreementsPrepare/Review covenant calculations required under credit agreementsGovernance, Audit & ComplianceSupport annual external audits and tax compliance processes by coordinating with administrators, auditors, and internal Tax teamsEnsure audit and administrator billings are in line with agreed Engagement Letters and contractual arrangementsInitiate and coordinate invoices with KKR Accounts Payable and review submissions prior to approval in ConcurAd-hoc, Process Improvement & Team CollaborationCollaborate closely with members of the SPV Controllership team to gather, review, and validate data used for internal reporting, oversight, and control activitiesPartner with Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams to support SPV-related processes, including fundings, distributions, audits, compliance requirements, and cash movementsAssist with ad-hoc requests and process-driven initiatives, including standardisation, efficiency improvements, and enhancement of administrator oversight processesSupport the development and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to SPV controllership and third-party administratorsQUALIFICATIONSGraduate with 8+ years of experiencePrior Private Equity Fund Administration or Audit experience is requiredExperience working within a financial services environment or comparable corporate environmentAbility to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high growth environmentTeam player with the ability to collaborate across Finance, IT, Operations, Tax, Legal, and TreasuryAI-minded individual with an interest in leveraging automation, data analytics, and
