Job Description
We are seeking a People Consultant to support the organisation through people development, continuous improvement of HR processes, and HR analytics and KPI reporting.
The role will support the manager and stakeholders to enhance HR workflows, embed performance and development practices, and deliver insight-driven recommendations across the employee lifecycle.
Professional bilingual in Portuguese and English is required due to the organisation's ongoing work with a significant Portuguese-speaking employees.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes, including process mapping, standardisation and SOP development.
Build and maintain HR KPI dashboards and reporting (e.g. training completion, time-to-hire, performance cycle metrics), and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Advise and support management on HR best practices and employee relations processes, including performance management frameworks and consistent documentation standards.
Design, coordinate and continuously improve structured onboarding and induction programmes, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated, compliant and engaged.
Support Learning and Development activities, including training needs analysis, coordination of learning plans, tracking of completion and effectiveness, and reporting on outcomes.
Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning inputs, interview evaluation frameworks and the continuous improvement of selection processes.
Support the review, implementation and ongoing improvement of HR policies, guidelines and internal HR governance processes.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and organisational capability projects aligned with business objectives.
Support HR-related initiatives and improvements using project management methodologies.
Key Requirements
Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Human Resources or a closely related field.
3-5 years' relevant professional experience in HR, advisory, consulting, or people and development roles.
Proven communication skills in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
Strong analytical capability, including KPI definition, reporting, trend interpretation and the clear communication of recommendations.
Sound working knowledge of HR best practices and structured people processes (performance, development, employee relations).
Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Knowledge of project management methodologies, with experience supporting or coordinating projects.
Desirable
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, process mapping, SOP design).
Experience coordinating training programmes and development planning frameworks.
