Job Description
Glanua is seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Supervisor to manage multi-disciplinary project delivery from mobilisation to site finishes and demobilisation.
You will be part of the management of our project delivery team, gaining exposure to the full variety of works involved in the delivery of Irish Water projects, including pipelaying, deep drainage, landscaping and kerbing.
You will work closely with the contracts managers, site project manager and engineers in the delivery of our pipeline of works, managing site teams and subcontractors, and acting as a key link between design and site delivery.
You will work in a one-team culture while actively contributing to your own skills and experience.
The role will be primarily involved in Process Design, with exposure to MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) as well as civil engineering and building.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects, embracing the ethos of a "one team" culture.
Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are adhered to on-site.
Familiar with the HSQE management system and procedures in conjunction with current statutory requirements.
Be available to provide coverage if the project manager is absent, assuming the role of day-to-day site operation manager.
Be familiar with programme and budgets for the project; understand the impact of overruns.
Input in RAMS development and safety paperwork including statutory and company safety inspections.
Understand project design, specifications and client requirements.
Drive and maintain standards for all site personnel, including direct staff and subcontractors.
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, efficiently with minimal reworks, and rectify defects promptly.
Participate in site safety inspections and provide input for closing out identified items.
Ensure a positive experience for the client and their representatives, fostering collaboration, cooperation and respect.
Perform other duties as required.
