Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects in commercial, residential and educational sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role and hold a BSC Degree or higher, in Construction, Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Key Responsibilities
* Close involvement/communication with all disciplines i.e. Client, Architectural, Engineering and EHS while ensuring coordination of project management construction and engineering team.
* Develop a detailed program for works including sub-contractors and other disciplines.
* Ensure that the adequate resources are available to complete the project within schedule.
* Ensuring that every member of the Project Team is aware of their roles and responsibilities associated with the project.
* Communicate with company Directors on project progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role.
* BSC Degree or higher, in Construction, Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at once.
* Knowledge of legal requirements especially in regard to the engineering role and duties.
* Ability to write and evaluate reports.
* Responsibility for own professional development.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office - Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint.
