We are looking for some passionate & experienced bartenders to join our team. Hourly pay is negotiable depending on experience. A role in Peggy Moores is a fantastic opportunity for anyone keen to upskill and possibly move up the ladder in hospitality as our preference is to promote employees internally.
Peggy Moores has a 50 bed top of the line Back Packers above the pub. This addition has given Peggy's a unique atmosphere bringing in customers from all over the world.
Opportunities also include alternative roles & places of work as we are located in close proximity to our 2 other sister venues. Scholars Townhouse Hotel & the newly opened Sunday Street Venue has made it an exciting time for all involved.
The Mc Gowan family run the 3 businesses along with an incredibly friendly & experienced management team. Job Description
* Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Be friendly & have the craic with the customer.
* Use a till to take orders and payments.
* Handle cash & credit card terminals.
* Serve quality drinks efficiently at the bar or at the table.
* Keep the bar clean and well stocked.
* Give advice on drinks to suit customers tastes.
* Collect & clean glasses, maintain high standard of cleanliness across the board.
* Serve alcohol responsibly & check for identification.
* Ability to work with a team.
* Serve cocktails (inhouse training provided).
* To be positive with a can do attitude & work in a very hands on manner.
