Technical Sales Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and market presence in the process industries, including pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and other key sectors.
You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to develop solutions, grow business, and champion process safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow assigned customer accounts to increase revenue and profitability.
Drive the full customer lifecycle from identifying opportunities to closing sales.
Identify and develop new prospects in target sectors.
Build expertise in customer applications and act as a solutions specialist.
Support business development across Ireland and the UK.
Collaborate with internal teams on sales and marketing initiatives.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular sales reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, including health & safety and data protection.
Candidate Profile
5+ years' experience in sales within industrial or process sectors.
Strong track record of technical and commercial sales success.
Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally overseas.
Experience managing multiple customer accounts and the full sales cycle.
Knowledge of industrial automation or process technologies.
Proven ability to meet ambitious sales targets.
Comfortable using CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities.
