OverviewMy client is a leading residential developer who have recently completed numerous projects in North and South Dublin and they have a large pipeline of projects starting in the coming weeks and months.ResponsibilitiesGood knowledge of house building and infrastructure works.Competent in setting out and use of various total station and GPS equipment.Use of AutoCAD essential for uploading as-builts and measuring monthly valuations.Knowledge of BCAR & Irish Water document submissions.Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, in house quantity surveyors in reviewing monthly valuations.Assume day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Design Team Workshops, etc.).Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.Build relationships with the team (sub-contractors and direct) to identify risks and opportunities.Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained to the highest possible.RequirementsHold relevant construction/engineering qualification.Practical and theoretical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental workings.3+ years as a site engineer with experience which includes enabling works, groundworks, site development works and quality control on large-scale residential developments projects in a similar roleUse of AutoCAD and a document control management system (Procore, Zutec) is essential.Knowledge of the BCAR process specific to housing.Irish Water Safety File collating.Ability to work on own initiative.Self-motivated and hard workerStrong team building skills.Analytical and decision-making skillsStrong budgeting and financial management skillsExcellent written and oral presentation skillsIf you are interested in applying for this role, contact Mark Barrett on 0858666089 or email mark@aaeuro.comSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and OtherIndustriesConstruction
