Position Summary:
The Development Finance Graduate will support the Development Finance Manager on all aspects of funding within the Development Team. They will work closely with the Finance department in relations to funding viability, approvals, cashflow management and data management.
Qualifications:
* Suitable candidates will have a relevant third level qualification in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or other related discipline.
* Own vehicle and full clean driving license required.
* Good understanding of MS Office.
You will:
* Assist on all aspects of funding within the Development team, including cashflow reviews, funding applications, reviewing funding approvals, reconciliations, and dealing Finance department queries.
* Assist in liaising with the Finance department in relation to funding approvals, invoice requests, reconciliation of payment and drawdown trackers.
* Assist with the compilation of budgets and development pipelines to ensure accuracy of all financial data.
* Assist with the compliance to finance related Policy & Procedures.
* Assist in keep abreast on current affairs within the sector including providing summarized updates on all financial data published by other Approved Housing Bodies and the Land Development Agency.
* Assist in obtaining consultants’ conditions of engagement supporting documents.
* Assist in setting up new suppliers with finance team for new design teams and contractors.
* Assist in monitoring design team payments making sure they align with their conditions of engagement.
* Assist in compiling quotations for other professional services as and when required.
* Assist in compiling post-handover documents for recoupment of remaining funding.
Requirements:
* Understanding of cashflows and profitability metrics (NPV, DSCR Yield, Interest Cover etc).
* Good understanding of MS Office especially Excel
* Understanding of property development & construction, and property acquisitions.
* Understanding of working with partners and relationship management.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* To participate on forums/working groups/committees as required.
