Job Description
Our organization is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Leader to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced, automated production process. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and be able to drive improvements in quality, uptime, and efficiency.
The Process Engineering Leader will lead a team of engineers and technicians in resolving daily issues and troubleshooting. They will utilize a data-driven approach to investigate and resolve process issues, driving structured problem-solving with technicians.
The role requires collaboration with material suppliers to ensure robust controls across the value chain to maintain process stability and equipment uptime. Additionally, the successful candidate will coordinate with the development team on new equipment or processes to establish robust process windows and ensure effective handover to production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of engineers and technicians in support of production and maintenance activities.
* Utilize data analysis skills to drive improvement initiatives and resolve process issues.
* Collaborate with material suppliers to ensure robust controls and process stability.
* Coordinate with the development team on new equipment or processes.
* Investigate QN, Customer Complaints, and CAPA issues.
* Manage change control processes within the assigned area.
* Train and develop technicians in process engineering.
* Ensure safety in all activities and conduct risk assessments.
* Ensure compliance with business quality policies.
* Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years of process engineering experience with people management.
* Strong data analysis skills and experience with Six Sigma or similar problem-solving methodologies.
* Knowledge of Lean techniques: Standard Work, TPM.
* Experience with equipment validation and documentation in a regulated industry (optional).
