Maintenance Manager
As a key player in maintaining hotel properties to the highest standards, you will oversee daily maintenance operations and lead a team of skilled professionals. Your expertise in managing plumbers, electricians, and contractors is essential for ensuring that work is completed to the required standard.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Safety First: Oversee health and safety practices, source suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage annual contracts for all necessary equipment.
* Team Leadership: Liaise with the accounts department to ensure purchases align with our financial objectives, complete purchase orders, and approve transactions.
* Knowledge Sharing: Develop and provide training to duty managers on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and health and safety issues.
* Strategic Planning: Project manage refurbishment or capital expenditure projects cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with industry and health and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar environment, with a proven track record of leadership.
* Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting and maintain high standards.
* A strong understanding of Health and Safety principles.
