About the Role
The Rine are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join our friendly and dynamic team at Shannigans Gastro Pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the smooth day‑to‑day running of the bar, ensuring excellent food and beverage service
Work closely with Senior Management to ensure adequate resources and equipment are in place
Support the Bar Manager in controlling costs, including labour, stock, and departmental expenses
Maximise sales opportunities and contribute to upselling initiatives
Assist in raising the profile of the bar both internally and externally
Ensure all cleaning schedules are implemented, maintained, and regularly checked
Support monthly stocktakes and investigate any discrepancies
Ensure correct opening and closing procedures are followed
Monitor billing accuracy and ensure all transactions are correctly posted
Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and staff uniform
Train and support new and existing team members
Assist with function bar operations, ensuring smooth setup and service
About You
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
High standards of customer service
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Friendly, outgoing, and customer‑focused personality
A team player with a proactive and hands‑on approach

Working Hours
Monday to Sunday, 5 days over 7. Flexible shifts required due to the nature of the business.
