Applications are invited for the position of #003107 - Project Coordinator, 9 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Role Profile
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the design and implement this new approach to research assessment. Reporting to the DCU People Senior Manager and working closely with the Open Research Steering Group Chair, the post holder will act as a liaison between HR, researchers, and senior leadership, ensuring that principles of openness and fairness are translated into everyday assessment practices. This is a highly collaborative role requiring excellent communication, facilitation, and organisational skills. They will require a blend of strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills to successfully navigate the data gathering, training development, and knowledge transfer phases of the project. Both disciplinary and process relevant guidance, training and support materials for assessors and subjects of research assessment will be developed.

Salary and Terms
Salary Scale: Professional 4 - €44,169- €60,063 (points 1-8 only) pro-rata. Funding is limited for this post which is reflected in the scale points above.
Closing date: 19 September 2025. Interviews are envisaged for 6th and 7th October 2025.
Additional Information
Please note this role does not meet criteria for a Critical Skills permit as stipulated by the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment.
Remote Working Policy
DCU operates its Remote Working Policy. Employees may be approved for up to 2 days of remote working per week (or an appropriate pro rata amount for part-time). Remote working arrangements will be reflective of the predominant on-campus working environment and the core University value of “Student Focused”. Employees will be based on campus for the majority of the working week to ensure sustained on-campus engagement. The terms of the remote working policy will apply.
