Accounting Technician
This role involves assisting the Financial Controller with overseeing all financial aspects of company strategy and flow of financial information to senior management. Key responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, generating invoices, posting receipts, and credit control.
The ideal candidate will have a bookkeeper qualification or equivalent experience in finance, strong computer and analytical skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft and Sage accounting software. Additionally, they should possess effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
This position is responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded in line with financial policies and procedures, preparing monthly and annual accounts to trial balance, and reconciling the balance sheet. The successful candidate will also assist in streamlining existing financial processes and procedures to achieve operational efficiency.
