Your new company A Technical Services Facility Manager is required in the mid-west region. Our client is expanding their operations and, as a result, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager / Retail Services Engineer to manage maintenance contracts for key retail clients. This is a dynamic and challenging role offering excellent career progression within a growing company operating across Ireland and the UK. The role is based in the Shannon region. ResponsibilitiesContract DeliveryAssist the contract manager in delivering contracts in accordance with service level agreements.Manage and schedule planned and reactive maintenance works.Ensure timely completion of works and client satisfaction. On-Site ManagementResolve on-site issues promptly and professionally. Team & Contractor ManagementSupervise mobile technicians and contractors.Plan weekly schedules with the Technical Services Coordinator.Manage contractor approval and review processes.Expand and maintain a strong network of suppliers and contractors. Financial OversightPrepare quotations and pricing for works.Manage variations and ensure accurate invoicing.Oversee purchase order processes and budget tracking.Cost management. Reporting & DocumentationProduce weekly and monthly reports for internal and client use.Ensure accurate documentation of works and compliance records. Health & SafetyPromote and enforce health and safety standards across all activities.Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).Manage work permits and ensure safe working practices.
