Human Resources Officer
Overview
We're looking for an experienced HR Officer to support our HR department and leadership team in driving company growth. This role is for someone with five years of HR experience who is comfortable handling HR operations and ready to step into a more strategic role by helping design and implement growth-focused HR plans. You'll work closely with the Head of HR to make sure our HR processes not only run smoothly but also help our team and company thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of HR in overseeing day-to-day HR activities, serving as a reliable resource for employee relations, hiring, and team development.
Contribute ideas and support for aligning HR practices with company goals.
Lead recruitment efforts: post job ads, coordinate with recruitment partners, guide candidates through the interview process.
Help design and roll out growth and development plans for employees; work with team leaders to identify training needs and career opportunities.
Maintain employee records, handle required HR documentation, ensure compliance with local employment laws and advocate for best practices.
Support payroll team with payroll-related questions and benefit administration to promote employee engagement and well-being.
Lead the onboarding process, track probation periods, and follow up with managers to provide timely feedback.
Act as a point of contact for employee questions, help create a positive, supportive work environment, assist in developing fair performance management processes.
Create and present HR reports, use data to give insights on trends such as retention and recruitment.
Lead or support special HR projects aimed at improving efficiency and developing new initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or CIPD certification.
At least five years of experience in an HR role with increasing responsibilities.
Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data analysis.
Strong ability to handle sensitive information and provide trustworthy support.
Experience with recruiting, employee development, and other HR initiatives.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
