Bioprocessing Team Leader Job Description
Job Summary:
* Ensure the manufacture of GMP products in accordance with agreed-upon schedules.
* Collaborate to deliver manufacturing performance targets, resolve problems, and eliminate barriers.
* Manage a team of Bioprocessing Scientists and Manufacturing Technicians, providing training, support, motivation, coaching, development, and performance management.
* Ensure the team understands safety hazards and controls, perform risk assessments, and maintain inspection readiness.
* Lead Quality issue first response during bioprocessing, ensure GMP compliance, and manage documentation and training.
* Champion continuous improvement within the team, maintaining high standards for quality-critical manufacturing activities.
* Proven experience in managing advanced biochemical drug substance manufacturing to cGMP requirements.
* Strong background in managing operational health and safety in a dynamic environment.
* Experience in leading, coaching, and developing operational and technical teams.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage risk effectively.
* Ability to synthesize complex information and use intuition and experience to complement data.
* Skilled in structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
