Job Title: Senior Finance Director
This is a high-level leadership role within the finance department, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead core finance functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll & pensions, client accounts, banking, taxation, general ledger, and systems administration.
* Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes by coordinating with team members.
* Manage banking activities, including weekly cash flow forecasting and maintaining bank facility limits to ensure compliance.
* Strengthen and monitor internal controls to guarantee adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Support statutory, tax, and audit compliance through close collaboration with external auditors and regulators.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 10-15 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
* Strong background in finance operations, shared services, and process transformation with a proven track record.
* Experience in delivering systems improvements and managing ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at senior levels.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, compliance frameworks, and regulatory obligations with the ability to apply them in practice.
