We are looking for an accomplished Contracts Surveyor (Senior) to join our team in Cork.ResponsibilitiesCost & Financial Control: Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and prepare accurate forecasts to maintain profitability.Subcontractor Procurement & Management: Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiate contracts, assess valuations, and administer timely payments.Commercial Reporting: Provide clear and comprehensive financial reports to support decision-making at senior management level.Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate commercial risks to protect margins and ensure project viability.Contract Administration: Handle contract variations, claims, and final accounts in line with agreed terms.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to align financial and commercial objectives with project delivery.Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities comply with company policies and industry standards.Estimating: Experience with Candy or similar estimating software would be advantageous but is not essential.Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; professional membership/Chartership (SCSI/RICS) desirable.Experience: 6–10 years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering or commercial construction, preferably on large-scale design & build projects.Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of financial management tools and contract conditions.Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in cost planning, contract negotiation, and value engineering.Analytical Ability: Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €35,883.77-€79,497.49 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: In person
