Are you ready to make an impactful difference? Nwestco is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Dive into a role where you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.
This full-time position is based in Dublin, CA.
The pay range starts at $30/hr and increases based on experience. Benefits include PTO, 401(k), and more.
Your Mission:
* Work on all electrical aspects of fuel dispensers, pumps, and other service station equipment (Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Red Jacket, etc.) and retail POS systems (VeriFone, Passport).
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
* Ensure all work complies with NEC and California Electrical Code.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Adhere to all safety protocols.
* Manage materials and tools efficiently.
What You Bring:
* Valid California Journeyman Electrician certification or nearing completion.
* Experience in commercial electrical work.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Commitment to safety and familiarity with safety standards.
* Availability Monday-Friday with weekend flexibility.
Additional Requirements:
* Travel may be required; expenses covered by Nwestco, LLC.
* Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical assessment.
* Valid driver's license with a clean record over the past 5 years.
* This is a safety-sensitive position requiring drug testing, including for marijuana, per federal and company policies.
