About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to join our site team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with main building contractors and be comfortable with setting out and ordering concrete.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced senior engineer and be responsible for ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to grow within a company. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting out and checking works as required for the project.
* Performing checks on the quality of works completed.
* Liaising with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks.
* Ensuring H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
* Supporting the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience with main contracting on RC Frame projects.
* Experience setting out for multistorey structures.
* Minimum of 1 years' experience in an engineering role with a Main building Contractor.
* Ability to use setting out instruments and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
