The Group operates as a commercial organisation across 10 business units, including 12 production facilities located in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.The commercial organisation is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua's consumer brands including Ireland's most successful food export: Kerrygold. Consumer markets are served by production facilities in Ireland, Germany and the UK and by in-market Sales & Marketing Teams in Asia, Germany, Ireland, MEA, Poland, Spain, rest of Europe and North and Latin America.It also manages the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products, the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers globally, and the implementation of de-risking and trading strategies to manage market volatility. These activities are supported by production facilities and in-market teams in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.The RoleThe Shift Co-ordinator will have responsibility for supporting the production shift manager and shift team with all production activities to ensure delivery of business KPIs.Key Areas of ResponsibilityResponsible for supporting the Production Shift Manager and the Shift Team with all the shift team's day to day production activities and in the delivery of associated KPIsDirect responsibility for the accurate and timely upkeep of all shift related documentation and administrative tasks in line with the business needs. Including but not limited to:Ensure payroll is completed and signed off weekly.Resource planning: Co-ordinate the resource and holiday plan and overtime planning accuracyTraining versatility matrix updates and scheduling of training to meet requirements.Reporting & analysing production performance & metrics.Factory & Supplier non-conformance follow ups & close-outs.Weekly Manufacturing Orders & materials consolidationFacilitate pre-shift meetings / shift handovers, completion of shift reports.Ensure accurate, timely, and appropriate usage of Redzone for shift team.Ensure all MO's and stock are managed through the production process correctly and in line with FIFOERP & OEE systems SMESupport OpEx activities with shift and site teams.Support warehouse and supply chain administrative activities on shift as required.Support safety, quality, & environmental activities on shift as required.Key Skills / AttributesExcellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, & admin skills essentialDemonstrates excellent attention to detail, accuracy with data, forward planning skills.Driven, disciplined, motivated and self-directed individual with a desire to learn.Team player, flexible & willing to support colleagues.Ornua Core CompetenciesFORWARD LOOKING: Helps others to accept change, implements change, and looks ahead to anticipate change.WORKING TOGTHER: Ensures own team effectiveness; facilitates and leads cross-functional working.OWNERSHIP: Clarifies accountabilities, overlaps, and gaps, and helps others remain motivated through difficult timesCOMMUNICATIVE: Communicates confidently, adapting style for different situations
