CorkProject: 212 Houses & 56 Apartments (3 years remaining, currently 4 months in) Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Finishing Foreman to join a leading construction company on a large-scale residential development in Midleton, Co. Cork. The project comprises 212 houses and 56 apartments, with an expected duration of 3 years remaining. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high-quality homes on a long-term project.The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of on-site operations, ensuring all works are carried out safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities· Oversee and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring efficient delivery of works.· Supervise and manage trades, subcontractors, and direct staff.· Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.· Monitor progress against project schedule and report to senior management.· Manage finishing works, ensuring all snagging and final handovers meet required standards.· Liaise with design teams, engineers, and clients to resolve technical and construction issues.· Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.Requirements· Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager or Finishing Foreman in residential construction.· Strong track record in delivering housing/apartment developments to completion.· Excellent knowledge of construction processes, finishing details, and quality standards.· Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.· Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance.· Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.· Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).Salary & Benefits· Competitive salary package (based on experience).· Long-term project security (3+ years).· Career progression opportunities with a reputable contractor.· Supportive team environment with a strong pipeline of projects.
